Sitka found that hunters were looking for a versatile late-season jacket capable of withstanding cold winds while remaining ultra-quiet. Sitka set out to meet this need—and many others—with the Fanatic. The fabric was acoustically tested by comparing it to the material used for tracking white-tailed deer, and they equipped it with aWINDSTOPPER® membrane by GORE-TEX LABS, sandwiched between aBerber fleece outer layer and Primaloft® Silver insulation. Thanks to the innovative diagonal zipper, they were able to incorporate a Berber fleece-lined hand warmer sleeve for exceptional warmth. To complete the design, Sitka added functional pockets for a rangefinder and a protective tube, located along the diagonal zipper, for quick and easy access.
